A compilation of printed media that has been entered and won awards I have created

Solution

To design a compilation of printed media for an award winning Colourist’s that are working for the brand HOB. My design of the book won awards for the Colourist - “Sean Nolan”.

Impact

The design also gave awareness to other Colourist’s who were in other categories. This practice was applied throughout the business with other roles.

Affiliative Digital Marketing - Client - ghd

Solution

To design a set of mixed media of ghd assets from website banners to social media assets. Retouching the products to make them appealing and luxurious. Resolving the issue of making the customer aware of HOB and ghd’s contribution to the charity organisation of Breast Cancer Awareness in a calm and minimalistic style to HOB Salons target audience .

I also designed the logo for the ghd sale and use the brand colours of Hob Salons to emphasize the brands connection with the product.

Impact

Results showed an increase of 25% increase of awareness in a 5-day activation. Which gave a click through % of 38% for the product and selling more than previous years in its promotion at HOB.

With the results proving the design theory of the assets I was trusted to lead with further ghd designs on a regular basis.

Nioxin / Wella - Beauty

Client - Wella

A campaign based on the sub company Nioxin which is a brand in the Wella umbrella chain. In this campaign Digital / Print media was used to promote the artwork and advertised in HOB Salons.

Solution

To design a compilation of motion and static assets to promote and give awareness of Wella related hair care products. The brief was to create short impactful animations with typography to engage the customers through social media and other channels.

Impact

The use of motion made a ROI and increase the products awareness, treatments and sales with the brand.

HOB 35th Anniversary Party

HOB Salons 35th Anniversary Campaign Print/Digital/Retouching

Solution
To design a set of mixed media of printed invitations, Menus, posters flyers and digital banners to an award ceremony celebrating 35 years of Hob Salons. Featuring the Founder’s iconic hairstyles that was showcased from his recent photoshoot.

I also designed the logo for the 35th anniversary of Hob Salons as the client wanted a modern and classic/seek look to bring a new audience to the brand. With this in mind I created a new and dynamic logo that sets a prestigious moment in the brands longevity.


Impact
The finished product was so impactful it sold out within half a day and made a high percentage on ROI which developed in to live hair shows and live training sessions.

The event got featured in hair magazines and across affiliated sites. This was showcased across Proud Camden and Proud Embankment venues.

The a5 flyers and website/social media banners was later made into posters that could be seen across all of the salons.

Solution

To help produce and direct/edit each Video advertisement for the brand using VFX, kinetic typography and dynamic transitions and shots to capture the brands’ identity. I created the dynamic modern futuristic social promotional experience. Using the hashtag look & feel which was a promotional suggestion to increase awareness to introduce a live show by the founder.

Impact

This brought new business to HOB from millennials to gen x and z. It raised awareness and increase sales of treatments throughout the business. It is used at least 3 times a year to teach and show how the brand’s strength in the industry.
